Our Story
The Outcrowd believes in the liberating power of rock and roll played loud and live. Formed in early 2020, the band spent countless hours writing and recording from home during the pandemic. The hard work paid off in the form of two original EP releases in a year. As venues opened up, The Outcrowd found and fought for opportunities to play safely and outside in the swampy summer of Houston, Texas. The Houston Press said "it’s easy to see how this band will only continue to quickly burn up the Houston music scene."
"Volume Two," released on August 13, 2021, is a loud and loving ode to the big rock and roll bands that filled the radios and hearts of young musicians 20 years ago. Alt77 compared The Outcrowd to Oasis, Guns N Roses, and Led Zeppelin, stating simply that "these boys check the boxes." ALt77 went on to proclaim the EP's lead single, Electric Touch is "a crowd-pleaser for the working-class." The Houston Press praised Volume Two, highlighting how the band "successfully captured their live energy on the tracks and the bands overall energetic yet unpretentious, down home sound."

Reviews
"Expect big things from The Outcrowd. The Houston based band recently released their debut EP 'Volume One' featuring four original tracks with Rock N Roll and Americana influences that are equally fitting for the bar scene or a backyard BBQ.
